Eric Kelso was fortunate to grow up in some of the most beautiful mountains and beaches in California, from Santa Cruz to Big Sur to Santa Barbara, where he attended UCSB. There, he majored in Film Studies and was awarded a Corwin Metropolitan Film Award for writing and directing the short film an echo en route in 1985.
Wanting to make films about various world cultures, but knowing nothing of other countries, he set out to travel the globe. During his travels he fell in love with Japan, where he happily resides and works today as a voice actor and writer. His voice and writing can be heard in dozens of NHK TV and radio shows, TV commercials, the original Iron Chef cooking show, video games (including Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Shenmue, F-Zero) and animation for Ultraman, DreamWorks, Disney Studios Japan, and Universal Studios Japan. Spending most of his life abroad, Eric's been exposed to diverse cultures and beliefs which have given him a wide vision of the world. These elements have been applied to SANITY ROAD, which was written over many years of creative thought and special attention to detail.
